Our Carriers

Why We Place High-Value Ohio Homes With Cincinnati Insurance

We don't start with a carrier and try to make your home fit it. We start with a full asset review: the dwelling's actual rebuild cost, what's inside it, the liability exposure tied to your net worth, and how all of that lines up with what your wealth advisor already has in place. Once we know what your home actually needs, we decide which carrier is built to price and pay for it. For a large share of Ohio's high-value homeowners, especially those who want a long-term, locally serviced relationship rather than a national call center, that carrier is Cincinnati Insurance.

$10,000 Jewelry, furs & firearms coverage — vs. $1,500 on a standard policy
100% Building ordinance coverage at full dwelling limit — vs. 10%, home only
$50,000 Family Shield medical expense coverage, per person

Cincinnati Insurance sells exclusively through independent agents. There's no direct-to-consumer arm, no app-only claims process routed through a call center in another state. Every policy stays tied to the agent who wrote it, which means when you have a claim, you're calling someone who already knows your home, not explaining it from scratch to a stranger.

For high-value homes, Cincinnati's coverage sits under its Private Client division, built as a three-tier ladder: Executive Homeowner, Executive Select, and Executive Capstone. Capstone is the top tier, and it's the one we write most Ohio estate and custom-home policies on.

Coverage in depth

Where this coverage actually goes further

Capstone Family Shield

Covers a category of risk standard homeowners insurance doesn't address: home invasion, carjacking, road or air rage, wrongful detention of a child, stalking, and cyberbullying. Pays up to $50,000 in medical expenses per person, $15,000 in lost salary for the first 60 days after an incident, and $25,000 for psychiatric care, plus the cost of increased home security, armored transport, or temporary relocation if your family needs to leave home for safety.

Green Upgrade rebuild coverage

Lets you rebuild with green-certified materials and methods after a covered loss, up to 10, 25, or 50 percent of your dwelling limit depending on the endorsement you choose — coverage built specifically for that, not a rider bolted onto a standard form.

A credit for reducing risk before a claim happens

Cincinnati maintains an approved list of smart water shut-off systems — devices like FloLogic, Moen, and Phyn that detect a leak and cut the water supply automatically — and gives a premium credit to homeowners who install one. For a homeowner with a finished basement, a wine cellar, or original hardwood throughout, that's a meaningful difference.

Earthquake coverage included

Included across Cincinnati's Executive tier — an exposure most Ohio homeowners never think to ask about, but one the state does see from time to time.

We don't place every high-value home with Cincinnati. Some estates, particularly those with significant fine art, jewelry, or flood exposure along the Ohio River, Lake Erie shoreline, or Scioto watershed, are often better served by Chubb's Masterpiece program instead. Part of what a full asset review does is figure out which carrier actually fits your specific home, rather than defaulting to whichever one we wrote the last policy with.

If a locally serviced, independent-agent relationship with genuine high-value coverage and a real track record on water and weather claims sounds like the right fit for your home, that's the conversation we should have.
