A sequence, not a single meeting

A full asset review happens in stages, not one conversation. Here’s the actual sequence, in order.

1. Initial conversation

A direct conversation about your property, your portfolio, and what’s currently in place, no paperwork required to start. This is where we identify roughly what categories need attention before anything gets formal.

2. Document and inventory gathering

Existing policy documents, any appraisals already on hand, and a working inventory of collections, vehicles, and other valuables. Gaps here get identified now, not discovered later during a claim.

3. Property and portfolio walkthrough

A real look at the property itself, construction details, features, outbuildings, alongside a review of liability exposures specific to the household: staff, pools, watercraft, board positions, anything that affects umbrella sizing.

Talk to a specialist

Have a question about how this applies to your specific property? A quick conversation is faster than reading the rest of this guide.

4. Carrier matching

Once the full picture is assembled, we match it against Cincinnati Insurance and Chubb’s specific underwriting strengths, rather than starting with a carrier and working backward to fit your situation into it.

5. Proposal and comparison

You see exactly what’s being proposed, what it costs, and how it compares to your current coverage, before anything moves. Nothing changes without that comparison being clear first.

Every step exists to make sure the number we eventually propose is based on your actual property and portfolio, not an assumption about them.

How long it takes

The timeline depends on how quickly documentation and appraisals come together, more than on anything we control. We move as fast as your side of the process allows, without skipping steps to get there faster.
